Truck Driver Class 1 Owner Operator

Position Title: Truck Driver Class 1 Owner Operator, Hiring Immediately

Location: Burnaby, BC

Duration: Monday to Friday Full-time,

Description:

We are looking for a professional and safety-oriented Truck Driver Class 1 Owner Operator you will have the ability to work well with minimal supervision and have a strong sense of urgency to complete tasks promptly and safely. You must have a passion for driving safely and defensively on the roads, for yourself and for others. You are not afraid of hard work and you are able to perform well in a fast paced and physically demanding environment

Position Summary:

We are looking for professional and safety-oriented Truck Driver Class 1 Owner Operator to join Speedee, a division of Canada Cartage based in Burnaby, BC

Local PICK UP AND DELIVERY

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Possess a Class 1 driving license, Commercial Experience considered an asset
• Possess in continuous good standing a valid BC issued Class 1 license (no more than 3 demerits and 3 negative events in 5 years)
• Truck should not be older than 10 years
• Mountain experience is Asset
• Must be bondable and legally able to work in Canada
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
• Clean CVOR, abstract and criminal search
• Follow company rules and regulations with respect to safety and hours of service
• Excellent customer service skills
