We are seeking a dependable and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. This role involves safely transporting freight across various routes while ensuring timely deliveries. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. Responsibilities
Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules and issues
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle operability
Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation duties
Qualifications
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record
Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and other industrial machinery is preferred
Knowledge of freight handling, automotive repair, and basic vehicle maintenance
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
