Adecco is currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time Truck Driver in Vancouver, BC to work at one of Canada's finest chocolate manufacturer and distributor in Canada. To qualify for this role, you must hold a Class 5 driver's license with Airbrake, and be available to work day, afternoon and evening shifts. • Location: Vancouver, BC (warehouse)
• Shifts: 40 Hours / Week | 8 -10 hour shifts starting at 3 AM or 5 AM
• Job type: Full-time | Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities: * Works in accordance with the warehouse schedules and specifications

• Loads and unloads trucks
• Delivers product and supplies to all our lower mainland shop locations
• Shuttles to and from Chester and Kingsway as well as delivery stops in the Greater Vancouver area
• Complies with all safety policies, accident prevention and compliance programs
• reviews work areas for potential issues that result in losses and reports injuries and hazards
• Performs all warehouse duties including, but not limited to packing, cleaning, organizing, shipping and receiving product and supplies to retail shops, manufacturing, office support and inventory control
• Perform other general duties as required

Requirements and Qualifications: * A Highschool Diploma/GED is required

• Must hold a Class 5 driver's license with Airbrake and a clean driving record
• Previous or current forklift certification and shipping / receiving experience are an asset
• Ability and willingness to work full-time and different shifts (Day, afternoon and evening) is a must
• Should have excellent organizations skills, and verbal and written communications skills in English
• Can create neat accurate and legible reports
• Ability to enter data into the computer/WMS System is a must
• Can endure continuous repetitive motion
• Maintain a professional image and well-groomed appearance
• Must wear steel toe boots
• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
