Volumetric Mixer Truck DriverPosition Description: Clark Builders is hiring a Mixer Truck Operator for work in Northern Canada. This role will be responsible for the safe operation of the Volumetric Mixer Truck on a remote site.Reporting to: SuperintendentDuties and Responsibilities: Safe and courteous operation Clark Builders vehicles and equipment Complete daily inspections of equipment and communicate any concerns with the Superintendent Circle and inspect equipment. Complete inspection log and check area for hazards Loading hoppers with cement, aggregate, and water Mixing/pouring from the truck Maintain a clean and safe vehicle Communicate all vehicle maintenance concerns to Superintendent Perform additional job- assignments as directed by Manager including but not limited to operating equipment, organizing site and other duties as required Represent Clark Builders in a professional and respectful manner Adhere to Clark Builders policies and proceduresSkills and Knowledge: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks in an effective, organized manner, ability to multitask Strong communication, analytical skills, and attention to detail Must be organized and able to work without direct supervision Basic mechanical knowledge or skill for minor preventative maintenance and pre-shift inspections Demonstrate a high level of safety awareness and a clear understanding of equipment safety Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to work independently and in a team environment Live our CORE Values: Have a Can-Do Attitude, Respect Others, Succeed as a Team, Lead with Courage and Deliver ResultsQualifications: Valid class 3 Drivers License with air brakes a clean driver abstract is required - preference will be given to those with a class 1 drivers license High School Diploma or GED equivalent Previous experience with a mixer truck strongly preferred Be in good physical condition, able to lift up to 50 lbs, sit and stand for extended periods of time, kneel, climb ladders, and walk on rough terrain Valid first aid certificate an assetAdditional Information: 20 days on / 8 days off rotation OvertimeJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $35.00-$42.00 per hourAdditional pay:
