We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and equipment across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and efficient delivery. The Truck Driver will play a vital part in ensuring timely logistics operations and maintaining the integrity of our freight shipments.

Duties

Operate commercial trucks to transport freight and heavy equipment to designated locations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding schedules, delays, or issues during transit Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle operability Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during operations

Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, and heavy equipment operation preferred Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in transportation industry Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with route planning Physical ability to load/unload freight and handle heavy equipment as required Prior experience with freight handling and securement is desirable
