We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our family owned and operated trucking business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for running a sawdust blower truck and at times transporting other types of freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Class 1 Experienced Truck Driver needed for hauls within the Fraser Valley. Manual license a must. You'll be home every night.

Must be fluent in English; familiar with the Fraser Valley; punctual; be particular/neat in your work; able to do math calculations; must be polite with good customer relations. Must be physically fit.

Benefit package after 90 days.

Driver's abstract required.

Duties

Operate commercial trucks to transport sawdust, shavings and other goods and materials to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Load and unload sawdust and any other freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven, mileage, and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatcher and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road. Assist with basic automotive repair tasks as needed to ensure vehicle reliability. Operate heavy equipment or forklifts when required for loading or unloading freight.

Qualifications

Valid Class 3 commercial driver's license (CDL) is required, but we prefer that you have a Class 1 license. Manual license is a must. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks. Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients professionally.

Pay: $27.00-$32.00 per hour
