Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, as well as the ability to operate heavy equipment and perform basic automotive repairs as needed. The Truck Driver will play a vital role in ensuring timely delivery of freight while maintaining high safety standards.

Duties

Operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload freight, utilizing forklifts and other heavy equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on the vehicle to ensure optimal performance. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and regulations. Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely. Basic automotive repair skills for routine maintenance tasks. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and clients. Attention to detail to ensure accurate record keeping and compliance with safety standards. This position is essential for maintaining our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their products on time while upholding the highest standards of safety and service.

Pay: $21.74-$35.42 per hour
