We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering food in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in food preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to our established standards of quality and safety.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
Assist in the daily food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and preparation.
Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety practices.
Qualifications
Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
