About the role you'll play
You will be responsible for generating new business, managing new client relationships, and promoting our range of arborist services. This role requires a proactive individual with a passion for tree care and a knack for sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong and proven track record in sales.

At Maple Hill Tree Services, we are dedicated to providing top-notch tree care services. We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to join our team and drive growth through exceptional customer service and sales expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate New Business
: Proactively prospect, qualify, win, retain and expand sales through cold calling, networking, referrals, and field visits.
Client Relationship Management
: Build and maintain strong relationships with new clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
Sales Targets
: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
Follow-Up
: Regularly follow up with client's post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business and referrals.
Reporting
: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system.
Qualifications:
Experience
: Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the arboriculture, landscaping, or related industry. Ideally selling to property managers.
Knowledge
: Basic understanding of tree care and arboriculture practices is a benefit, but not required as we have a talented arborist team that can support the Arborist Business Developer.
Communication Skills
: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information and build rapport with clients.
Customer Service
: Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships.
Sales Skills
: Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Self-Motivation
: Highly motivated and self-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
Organization
: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously.
Technology
: Proficient in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
License
: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits and fieldwork.
