POSITION PURPOSE SUMMARY:KINGSTON TREATMENT PROGRAM COORDINATOR Reporting to the Director of Client Services, the Program Coordinator supports Unit providing clinical leadership French Fluency Preferred 32.00 Dollars Per Hour and Monday To Friday 40 hours a week. Written and Verbal Communication \xc2\xb7 Conduct daily Stand Up Meetings, Case Conferences, Program/Staff meetings as required \xc2\xb7 Work and communicate with Corrections Services Canada per contract, receiving and reviewing applicants \xc2\xb7 Schedule and attend Community Assessment Team meetings \xc2\xb7 Meet with CSC workers and interview potential CSC clients as required \xc2\xb7 Ensure treatment planning, classes, groups, counselling and discharges are delivered according to policy and evidence based best practices \xc2\xb7 Working collaboratively with the Support Services Manager and other building staff to provide smooth operation of the Unit 2. Supervision \xc2\xb7 Meets one to one with all direct reports monthly \xc2\xb7 Provides feedback on performance, behavior, client work \xc2\xb7 Assists staff with personal goals, struggles and client work plans \xc2\xb7 Provides supervision to students as required \xc2\xb7 Provide oversight, in conjunction with Support Services Manager, of Residential Care Workers and otherbuilding staff as pertains to program related activities \xc2\xb7 Conduct quarterly and annual PEAC/performance reviews 3. Reporting \xc2\xb7 Regular reporting to Director of Client Services, Senior Management and funders of program outcomes and service targets \xc2\xb7 Provide attendance, training and other reports to Director of Quality \xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with Personal Health Information Protection Act requirements \xc2\xb7 Provide support and serve on Health and Safety Committee, providing reports to THLM Property Manager 4. Administration \xc2\xb7 Ensure all potential clients are appropriately screened per policy \xc2\xb7 Ensure all documentation and waiting list for potential clients are maintained \xc2\xb7 Develop program outcomes and service targets, with Director of Quality, as required \xc2\xb7 Participate in development of Strategic Planning, as required \xc2\xb7 Understand funding agreements and ensure compliance \xc2\xb7 Work with Employee relations on hiring, employee paperwork, training and other related duties EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Qualifications and Certifications: \xc2\xb7 A Graduate level Social Services Related Degree or Diploma \xe2\x80\x93 or combination of education and experience \xc2\xb7 Member of Professional College or ability to become a member (i.e. CRPO, OCSWSSW) \xc2\xb7 French language skills or bilingual strongly preferred \xc2\xb7 NVCI training, valid CPR/First Aid preferred Experience and Skilled Knowledge Requirements: \xc2\xb7 Three years of related experience in residential treatment setting \xc2\xb7 Knowledge and experience in Addictions, Concurrent Disorders and Trauma informed practices \xc2\xb7 A good understanding of Microsoft Word, Outlook and other computer applications \xc2\xb7 Other special certifications (e.g. CBT, DBT) in relevant disciplines an asset \xc2\xb7 Understanding of the special needs of clients who are under the supervision of Correctional Services Canada Skills and Capabilities (examples provided below): \xc2\xb7 Attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills. \xc2\xb7 Strong sense of integrity, confidentiality, professional ethics and a balance between fairness and flexibility. \xc2\xb7 Must have the following, regarding Corrections clients: o Ability to understand the dynamics of offender behavior and assess their needs and risks o The skills to counsel offenders, form effective relationships and gain trust \xc2\xb7 Able to be a team player, work well with all staff and Directors, on and off site Rational and Calm demeanor, able to handle multiple issues and deadlines at once A_ll new employees within the Province of Ontario, Social Services sector_. The successful candidate will be made an offer of employment on the condition of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and will be required to provide proof of full vaccination, prior to their employment start date. Licence/Certification:
