Job Description

We are looking for a full-time Travel sales representative who is knowledgeable about travel industry and various destinations around the work such as Egypt, Jordan, Kenya, Tanzania, Portugal, Morocco, Italy, Dubai, India, Nepal, etc. Ideal Candidate: KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Research various destinations and means of travel regarding prices, customs, weather conditions, reviews etc. - Identify the clients\xe2\x80\x99 specifications and wishes and suggest suitable travel packages or services\xc2\xb7 - Organize travels from beginning to end, through booking tickets and accommodation, etc. - Supply travelers with pertinent information and useful travel/holiday materials\xc2\xb7 Collect deposits and balances - Handle unforeseen problems and complaints - Create and update electronic records of clients - Achieve revenue and profit targets Requirements and skills \xc2\xb7 Proven work experience as a Travel sales Consultant \xc2\xb7 Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant experience \xc2\xb7 Excellent knowledge of traveling software (computer reservations systems, GDS systems and e-travel) \xc2\xb7 Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage\xc2\xb7 Exemplary sales skills and customer oriented approach \xc2\xb7 Ability to present, persuade and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing \xc2\xb7 Candidates with personal travel experience will be preferred \xc2\xb7 Anticipates the services sought after by ascertaining the mood and style of the member \xc2\xb7 Identifies solutions before being asked \xc2\xb7 Exceptional ability to handle multiple tasks on tight timelines in a fast-paced environment \xc2\xb7 Excellent time management and organizational skills\xc2\xb7 Exceptional attention to detail \xc2\xb7 Hard working with a willingness to learn and a positive outlook\xc2\xb7 Proficient IT skills, confident with Microsoft office programs, especially Word and Excel HOURS OF WORK: Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday: 9am-6pm Job Type: Full-time Salary: To be determined based on experience + Commissions for each booking confirmed.
