Our client is expanding their IT Department and we are looking for a dynamic and experienced B2B IT Sales Consultant.
Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will have technical sales and account management experience. You will be responsible for prospecting new clients in small to medium sized businesses, setting qualified appointments, presenting a customized MSP and finalizing the sale. Identifying, prospecting, and developing new and existing business is crucial to the success of the role. You will leverage your excellent communication and presentation skills as well as your strong technical background to conduct sales activities effectively. The ideal candidate will work well both independently in addition to collaboratively with the rest of the team.
Developing and maintaining business relationships with clients, executing account plans, delivering solutions, and creating value.
Conducting research, making sales calls and identifying new business opportunities.
Developing proposals and quotations for new and existing clients.
Keeping up with IT product knowledge and trends.
Managing the full sales cycle, including procurement
Post- secondary education with a minimum of 2 years technical sales experience, ideally in office machines and IT services
B2B sales professional with a hunter mentality – you have the ability to cold call, prospect and convert calls into sales, you thrive on winning business and earning excellent commissions!
Proven track record in lead generation and finding new sales prospects
Proven ability to reach, access and secure meetings with appropriate decision makers
Familiar with IT services/MSP
An understanding of hardware, infrastructure support software, servers or installation services
An interest in technology, cloud, and solutions that are constantly changing
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
