Location: Edmonton, Southside ( This role works in office and will work in different centers multiple times a week on a weekly basis across the province based on business needs)

WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL DO
  • Report to Director of Sales, Member Services.
  • You\xe2\x80\x99ll expand, develop and coach a network of specialized travel counsellors and insurance advisors to ensure our members are protected and increase travel insurance sales.
  • You\xe2\x80\x99ll drive sales results and ensure targets are being met by region, centre, and agent; providing the tools and coaching needed to drive increased closure rates of all travel insurance products.
  • You\xe2\x80\x99ll collaborate with our insurance underwriter to identify training needs in delivering effective product training to support our network of specialists.
  • You\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for implementing strategies that will help the development of travel insurance products, improving the value and competitiveness of the brand.
  • You\xe2\x80\x99ll build and maintain effective business relationships that foster collaboration and innovation on training content development and delivery, agent tools & support and product enhancements.
  • You\xe2\x80\x99ll support the development and execution of content and marketing plans by providing story topics to support marketing initiatives that communicate our products, value, skills, and knowledge to our membership base.
  • You\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for creating and maintaining operational processes that support member satisfaction, growth and retention, business unit sales and cost controls.

  • Lead the charge in maximizing sales targets and member engagement \xe2\x80\x93 because you understand that our members mean everything to us.



WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99VE DONE
  • You have a high school diploma.
  • Post-secondary education in Travel is considered an asset.
  • You have a minimum of 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the Travel or Insurance industry (other Sales Management experience considered).
  • You\xe2\x80\x99ve got some serious experience under your belt as a leader who is able to manage direction and build execute plans to achieve strategies.
  • You \xe2\x80\x9cget\xe2\x80\x9d people and know what it takes to create a great experience for your team and for members.
  • You know all the ins and outs of how to be extremely organized and capable of tracking, managing, and resolving issues effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Above all \xe2\x80\xa6 you have a strong history of driving sales results \xe2\x80\xa6 a history of making a product you\'ve worked on, a service you\'ve provided, or a company you\'ve worked for; better, stronger, more loved and more purchased.
