Job Description

We are seeking a Personal Support Worker/Caregiver to accompany and assist our employer during his travels, which typically last up to two weeks. He travels for work, school, and entertainment purposes. He is a person known for his empathy, self-awareness, and self-respect, understanding and respecting both his own boundaries and those of others. With a sense of humor and an easy-going demeanor, he enjoys classical music, theatre, museums, art, and good food.

While traveling, he requires assistance twice daily: in the morning for dressing and transferring from bed to chair, and in the evening for transferring back to bed. As a caregiver, you won't need to be with him all day; you can enjoy your own activities during the day and return in the evenings to assist him.

He values independence and strives to maintain it even while needing some assistance.

Location:

Travel outside Canada

Shifts and Hours:

10 day trip in Late April or Early May in Dublin, Ireland Ongoing Caregiver for International Vacations to Europe in the Future

Compensation

$200 per day Accommodations and travel expenses paid for by the employer

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Dressing and undressing Physical transfers (no machines to assist)

Qualifications:

Some caregiving experience preferred At least 6'0 foot tall as the client feels more comfortable for manual transfers as there is no electrical lift for assistance Fully Vaccinated with boosters and papers to prove it Ability to lift and move between 150lbs and 200lbs safely Have a valid Canadian, EU, or USA passport with ability to travel Visa free within the European Union
