Job Description

We are currently recruiting a 24 hour Personal Support Worker for our female employer residing in Tappen, BC, who requires support with complex care and all activities of daily living.

She was a Master seamstress before her diagnosis and loves to watch Martha Stewart movies. She enjoys listening to music and having a positive environment around her. She is a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and considers each day a blessing.

We are currently only accepting resumes from residents of British Columbia

Shift & Hours:

24 hour shifts - start time is 8:30am Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday

Location:

Tappen (Near White Post Auto Museum & Antiques Mall)

Rate:

$350 per day

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Personal care including but not limited to Bed baths, washing hair, peri care, oral hygiene (extensive & will be trained), dressing assistance Regular turning (every 2 hours) with slip sheet Medication Assistance Blending foods for meals and Tube Feeding Suctioning and Flushing Light housekeeping and laundry - about 2 full loads per week Repositioning 2-3 times a night Duties may increase when client is sick as needed

Required Qualifications:

Caregiving experience is a strong asset Comfortable working with another caregiver as a team Class 5 Driver's License and personal vehicle is required (transit is not an option) Comfortable with a large dog Strong communication skills Willing to learn
