Cavendish Farms is a leading producer of frozen food products for retail and foodservice markets throughout Canada, the United States, and around the world. We have state-of-the-art potato processing plants in Prince Edward Island, Lethbridge, Alberta, and Jamestown, North Dakota, and an appetizer plant in Wheatley, Ontario. Our Head office is in Dieppe, New Brunswick and has sales office locations in Toronto, Montreal, and Boston.

Reporting to the Transportation Manager, the successful candidate must thrive in a fast paced and ever-changing environment, while maintaining a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and detail. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a "can do" attitude. The successful candidate will play a key role in the Supply Chain Department at Cavendish Farms.

Successful Candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• University degree or College diploma preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred
• Team player with excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite of applications.
• Attention to detail, data integrity, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure loads are flowing smoothly through the transportation management system, by monitoring load boards and actioning loads when required.
• Working with carriers on competitive rates for spot lanes and working with different departments to resolve any type of issues in a timely manner.
• Running open transfer orders reports and working closely with various teams to get accurate dates for when transfer loads will deliver.
• Responsible for ensuring dates are changed on transfer loads.
• Process variances on carrier invoices when required.
