Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Transportation Administrator, the duties and responsibilities of the Dispatch Clerk include but are not limited to the following: \xc2\xb7 Preparing Field Representatives schedule according to the customers delivery needs. \xc2\xb7 Creating, reviewing, update and close cleaning tickets in RMI ( PO\xe2\x80\x99s, location and contact , relevant information on rental order card), confirm quantity with customer contact, email of cleaning tickets \xc2\xb7 Print cleaning tickets, file in the Driver books and perform the required shipping function \xc2\xb7 Confirm returned delivery tickets are signed by customers using the driver\xe2\x80\x99s list. Inquire to driver if they are not signed and ensure a resolution \xc2\xb7 Prepare, update and print driver\xe2\x80\x99s list and ensure the cleaning tickets are attached including the new garments from the stores sales \xc2\xb7 Prepare daily non delivery report and follow up on daily non deliverables \xc2\xb7 Daily meeting with drivers to escalate drivers issues if required \xc2\xb7 Apply delivery charge to customer even in the event of no pick up \xc2\xb7 Generate invoice for cash customers \xc2\xb7 Handover notes when closing the day \xc2\xb7 Serve as point of contact for customers, building relationships and addressing customers complaints \xc2\xb7 Filing of signed copies of delivery tickets and update PO\xe2\x80\x99s on delivery tickets \xc2\xb7 Request for credit memo if need be from Accounts Receivable
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Completion of Business certificate/ degree/diploma is required
  • Previous supply chain work related skills
  • Experience in previous dispatch role
  • Knowledge production, processing, customer service, technology etc.
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written
  • Active listening and learning
  • Reading comprehension, coordination, judgement and decision making, time management, service oriented, inductive and deductive reasoning
Key Relationships: - Customers - Plant Supervisor - Quality Control Coordinator - Field Representatives - Account Receivable clerk - Storefront staff Working Conditions: Fast-paced and computerized environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks\xe2\x80\xa6 Physical Requirements: When required, there will be a possibility to assist the plant during peak period. Therefore standing for a long period of time not exceeding the length permitted by the law will be needed. There will be a possibility to drive to various customer sites to meet customer and obtain feedback. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: From $20.00 per hour Benefits:
