We are currently looking for a Training Recovery Planner to join us in making vacation dreams come true for our Sunwing Airlines division. As the Training Recovery Planner , you will be responsible for the monitoring and execution of the simulator training plan and the flight training plan. This position responds to all flight deck training disruptions and determines the most efficient recovery plan in a timely manner. What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do:

• Build simulator seat supports, staff the position when required and communicate with CAE any simulator changes.
• Respond to all training disruptions and review, analyze, implement, and communicate recovery training plans as required.
• Be the point of contact for any after hours urgent training disruptions.
• Utilize the appropriate safety reporting program to identify and communicate all known hazards and risks to the organization.
• Ensure effective compliance with all applicable regulatory processes and procedures.
• Review hours for new hire initial training and captain upgrades to ensure minimums are being met and report and adjust the plan on account of discrepancies.
• Monitor and update the recurrent training expiry dates and ensure base qualifications are updated after completing PPCs and Line Checks.
• Monitor the FCM Training inbox and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Attend Training Review meetings.
• Assist with testing new software/processes and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need:

• 1-3 years of work experience.
• Basic understanding of the Canadian Aviation Regulations relating to Airline Operations (Division III)
• Demonstrated experience applying CARs in an airline setting.
• Familiar with EASA regulations pertaining to crew duty and rest regulations.
• Familiarity applying collective agreements in an operational setting.
• Able to meet deadlines on a weekly and monthly basis with strong prioritization skills.
• Excellent ability to organize, and manage multiple tasks and prioritize and be able to adapt to changes.
• Excellent teamwork skills and ability to work in a fast-paced organization.
