Reporting to the Training and Performance Resource and Admin Manager, the Training and Resource Planner will schedule all Training courses. These include Basics, SOF, PCSOs and all other CATSA courses. The planner will maintain schedule accuracy and efficiency by proactively scheduling and communicating to all departments and Screening Officers providing exceptional customer service. Working with all levels of the organization promoting a workplace culture defined by our values, Integrity, Service Excellence, and Teamwork.

Role Responsibility:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Meeting notes and Agendas to be created for the CATSA meeting
  • Proficient in the daily/weekly Planner work allocations; focus on data integrity
  • Maintains, audits, and administers shift schedules for Screening Officers
  • Flag all issues regarding SO scheduling to HR
  • Ensure CATSA SITT entries are accurate for each training session \xe2\x80\x93 Classroom, Non-billable (Pes) for payroll purposes at the same time ensuring TG is updated
  • Completes administrative functions, which include but are not limited to: filing, updating trackers, planning SCTRs resources.
  • Maintains and provides all reports through various scheduling systems and software including CATSA

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Experience and Skills
  • College Diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Must have a minimum of one year experience in an administrative role, preferably in the security or aviation industries
  • Knowledge of relevant security and employment legislation is an asset
  • Meet and maintain any applicable licensing or certification requirements
  • Must be proficient in the use of software programs: Word, Excel, scheduling software
  • Understanding of rotational shifts and site schedules
  • Strong administrative and data entry skills
  • Ability to communicate with empathy; strong communication and interpersonal skills are critical for this position
  • Strong organizational skills, high level of urgency and proven experience meeting tight deadlines
  • Must be able to work with protected information
  • Ability to work varied shift patterns across all days of the week
