Training Facilitator Role Summary:

As part of the Dealer Operations Training and Knowledge Management Team, the Training Facilitator holds a dynamic role where the focus is on ensuring that we provide Facilitation aligned to meeting business priorities for Dealer and Field Operations.

This innovative and energetic person will have a passion for Training & Learning and be extremely flexible and adaptable in a rapidly changing environment. This person must keep their skills current and aligned with industry standards. They will present a positive and motivating attitude.

Main Accountabilities:

Deliver professional training based on accelerated and blended adult learning principles using a variety of tools

Promote service excellence and be an advocate of the Advisor and Client Experience.

Partner with other team members to ensure training material is consistent, up to date and aligned with our best practices and standards

Partner with the business to ensure Training and learning solutions are aligned with operational strategies

Complete learner assessments and conduct coaching sessions to provide feedback to the learners while keeping the business informed of learner proficiency.

Recognize and act on opportunities for continuous improvement.

Participate on projects affecting Dealer and Field Operations

Exhibit a sense of passion and commitment to living the brand in day-to-day activities.

Be a role model to new and existing Sun Life employees by your actions and positive attitude.

Develop learning solutions following design methodologies and best practices

Competencies/Qualifications:

Experience supporting or working with Wealth Management Dealer and Field Organizations

Two to five years of Training facilitation experience

Understanding of adult learning principles and application.

Experience with learning software and technology

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Passion for service and helping others succeed.

Bilingualism (French, English) required- interactions with English-speaking customers or partners

Excellent bilingual written and oral communication skills an asset (French and English).

Strong facilitation and presentation skills.

Proven ability to effectively give and receive feedback.

Demonstrate initiative and innovation

Advanced skill with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Flexibility and adaptability.

Strong influencing skills and consulting experience with demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority

Strong decision-making skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to build and strengthen partnerships at all levels of the organization.

Comfortable delivering training using various tools and techniques to ensure learner engagement and proficiency

Self-starter able to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to work well under tight deadlines.

Enjoys a changing and fast-paced environment.

Assets:

Adult Education certification or equivalent experience

Knowledge of Wealth Management Industry

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
