Maple Lodge Farms is Canada\xe2\x80\x99s largest independently owned poultry processor. It engages in processing and supplying chicken products in Canada and internationally. It offers bacons, deli chicken meats, sliced packaged meats, fresh seasoned chicken, frozen boxed meats, and wieners. What you will be doing


  • Partnering with Performance Culture, participate content creation and facilitation, and lead the coordination of training programs.
  • Manage our Co-Op program; building relationships with Universities and Colleges, attracting students to MLF opportunities, facilitating recruitment process, leading onboarding, and overseeing all program deliverables including end-of-term 360 presentations.
  • Partner in the development and management of employee feedback (from questionnaires, survey responses, etc.) that will drive initiatives, programs, and processes to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction across all levels of the organization.
  • Create content and manage updates to employee ENGAGE communication portal, internal employee screens and employee communication boards.
  • Lead the implementation of a new Communications App and be the main point of contact of its maintenance, to ensure a consistent flow of company-sponsored information reaches employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Derived from employee interactions and observations, be the source of innovation, bringing forward ideas with supporting business proposals, that will make MLF an Employer of Choice and drive retention across the business.
  • Provide support with our Performance Management program to help foster employee engagement and performance that drives company results.
  • Provide support with our Learning Management system ensuring courses records and reports are kept up to date.
  • Take an active lead in supporting our Employee Recognition programs.
  • Provide support to other areas of HR as required.

What you will bring

  • Minimum three years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a similar role.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential and contentious issues.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and effective multi-tasking is essential.
  • Strong ability to clearly communicate both written and verbal.
  • Effective organizational skills.
  • General computer skills (MS Office; HRIS).
  • Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in a related field.
  • Working toward or achievement of CHRP designation an asset.
