Job Description

A Federal Government Client of ours is looking for someone to support the creation and delivery of a development program for their internal Managers (IT-04 level). A survey has been complete for the type of development the managers would like to learn and the type of support they need. The survey results have not yet been analyzed.

Statement of Work

Mobilization

  • Review industry best practices
  • Review survey results (including summarizing Manager expectations)
  • Determine the level of ambition of the plan; the scope of training
  • Draft a high level communications presentation outlining the approach
Plan Development
  • Meet with the DG of HR, determine horizontal engagement model
  • Define pillars (or streams) of knowledge to be explored
  • Define the overall development vision and strategy
  • Develop a multi-prong detailed plan of activities within each pillar
  • Determine the training delivery mechanisms
Delivery
  • Develop the training materials
  • Gain traction and momentum in activities
  • Transition the plan/activities to an FTE when they join (4 to 6 months from today)
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in HR, strategic development and planning
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Canadian Security Clearance
  • Experience developing and delivering training plans
  • Government experience is an asset
