Job summary
EXFO is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated tele sales person to drive the business and customer engagement process with its prospect as well as existing customers. The ideal candidate will have a level of technical and commercial acumen as well as experience of selling remotely.


What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do

  • Partnering with your manager and campaign manager responsible for the Americas territory, you will;



    • Actively prospect to uncover potential customers
    • Drive opportunities from lead qualification to partnering with the RSM/SDR responsible within the territory.
    • Ongoingly maintain the CRM records of customers\xe2\x80\x99 information, performed activities as well as upcoming follow ups.
    • Drive supplemental business through various initiatives such as campaigns, linkedin, zoominfo, website, etc.
    • This position will represent a 4hr/day workload (planning, outbound call, input in C4C, etc).

    • An engineering or technical background
    • Strong entrepreneurial spirit - recognizing and capitalizing on opportunities
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to prepare and deliver professional documents as well as consult with customers via phone
    • Sales acumen and qualification skills
    • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and adaptable
    • Autonomous, well organized, and results-oriented
    • Able to interact with people at all levels
    • Ability to collaborate with supporting teams remotely


  • Pertinent experience:
    • Experience in Telecommunications
    • Tele-Sales / tele-support



Other requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office suite
  • Must have citizenship or be permanent resident of USA or Canada



Education:
  • Engineering or Science Degree

Any other combination of experience/studies will be considered.
