Media Matters is looking for an experienced sales development representative/telemarketer who is successful, motivated, smart, energetic, and looking for a rewarding position in a growing, profitable and dynamic company. This is a remote position and will be monitored by a combination of call volume and leads provided. The ideal candidate has two to five years of telemarketing/inside sales experience delivering qualified leads, booking introductions to highly motivated sales teams, preferably with experience in print and digital sales. Description - Validate existing information and obtain new customer information such as name, address and email and enter information into computer - Describe products or services, in order to persuade potential customers to subscribe to magazine or purchase advertising space - Explain products or services and answer questions from customers Skills - Enthusiastic and confident on the telephone - Knowledge of general telemarketing concepts - Computer skills - Time management skills - Ability to sort information and compare data - Attention to detail - Ability to use proper grammar and vocabulary - Telemarketing experience preferred Company Overview Media Matters Inc. is a niche and growing publishing company, located in downtown Peterborough, that focuses primarily on the Canadian collision repair industry.
