We are seeking a Traffic Controller to join our team at Road King Asphalt Inc. This role is essential in managing traffic flow around construction sites, ensuring the safety of both workers and the public. You will play a key role in maintaining efficient operations during paving projects.

Responsibilities

Direct and manage traffic around construction sites to ensure safety and efficiency. Set up and maintain traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barriers. Communicate effectively with team members and the public regarding traffic conditions. Monitor traffic patterns and adjust control measures as necessary. Report any incidents or hazards to supervisors promptly.

Requirements

Previous experience in traffic control or a related field is preferred. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with the public and team members. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols.
