About the Position ATS Traffic is currently looking for a Traffic Data Analyst to join us on the Trans Mountain Pipeline project. This is a contracted postion which will run until December 2023, however there is no guarentee of continued work after Decemeber 2022. This position will be part of a team of analysts that act as the first point of contact for all traffic related issues, be responsible for traffic data analysis, and communication/coordination with various stakeholders when certain thresholds, warnings, or situations arise. This role will part of a team that is the first point of contact for all traffic related issues (non-compliance and incidents). Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safety-first workplace culture that is consistent with ATS Traffic’s core purpose and values
  • Traffic Data Analysis, communicating and coordinating with various stakeholders when certain thresholds, warnings, or situations arise.
  • Work with Traffic Enforcement team to establish causes of delays/trouble-zones along the project route.
  • Traffic Monitoring on TMEP Route
  • Traffic Delay Reporting
  • Communication with project Stakeholders around traffic delays
  • Working with the Traffic Enforcement team to establish cause of delays/trouble-zones along the pipeline route
  • Record all observations/findings in the custom system used at Traffic Control Centre
  • Perform field audits, as required, to capture traffic data from different work sites
  • Proactively foresee, identify, address and resolve issues and problems as required

  • Familiar with asset management, GIS systems and reporting, an asset.

Qualifications
  • Registered EIT or Post-secondary degree Engineering, Science, DATA or related field is required. Preference is given to Engineering applicants.
  • Traffic/Transportation experience is desired, preferably large infrastructure projects dealing with significant traffic impacts.
  • Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Familiar with asset management, GIS systems and reporting, an asset.
