Compensation is base salary. We also offer paid vacation time, sick/personal days and fully paid benefits after 3 months\xe2\x80\x99 probation (Life, Accidental Death & Disability, Short and Long-Term Disability, Extended Health, Dental, Employee Assistance Program and RRSP Program with company matching your contributions, up to 3% of your salary).

As our Tradeshow & Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating booth presence, attendance, and logistics for meetings, conferences, and tradeshows for the Video Group of Safe Fleet. The coordinator will manage the tradeshow schedule, budget, booth equipment ordering and setup, pay invoices and work with the team to ensure booth kits and marketing materials are kept up to date, in good working order and distributed appropriately.

You will

  • Research relevant industry tradeshows, recommend attendance and get quotes
  • Coordinate the review, approval, and budget process for industry tradeshow attendance and ensure invoice payment adherence to budget, and track expenses
  • Identify marketing/advertising opportunities at conferences/shows
  • Manage contracts for event venues, contracted booth suppliers and other service providers
  • Ensure all booth space, equipment, electricity, carpeting etc. are ordered and paid for in advance and track shipments of booth kits and equipment to and from shows
  • Enter and maintain tradeshow records, budgets, costs, and expenditures in CRM
  • Train new sales team members on Tradeshow ordering and logistics process and keep training materials up to date
  • Maintain and track appropriate inventory of existing promotional items, printed collateral, and conference materials; participate in annual SWAG inventory and ordering

  • Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in technology event planning and logistics
  • Great work ethic and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, and be detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and Salesforce
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities
  • Availability to travel across US/Canada as need be (5-10%)
