Trade Marketing Specialist, Saucony Canada General Function Reporting to the Canadian Marketing Manager the "Trade Marketing Specialist" will work towards delivering best-in-class trade marketing programs to our retailers, delivering brand-led digital marketing campaigns, and supporting the journey of the Saucony consumer through the digital and retail floor touchpoints of our key retail partners across Canada. This candidate will possess a winning and positive mindset combined with their appetite of ownership, accountability and the ability to make a measurable impact on a small team with an exciting and established consumer brand with a healthy dose of footwear and running passion to back it all up. Primary Duties Wholesale Activation (70%) . Work with internal and external resources to assist with the development and management of the brands various seasonal marketing strategies, programs, and assets; and continuously measure the effectiveness of those strategies and programs. . Support the marketing team with our key accounts to execute integrated campaigns leveraging available tactics; including online/digital, email, events, PR, media, demand generation, social, and engagement programs . Work alongside Saucony sales rep force in regional markets and assist in executing the strategic growth plan for our Lighthouse/Tier 0 Specialty accounts. . Help create ideal in-store environment based on global merchandising guidelines in key accounts. Secure best placement and visibility for point of sale assets and ensure in-store assets align with global calendar. . Maintain digital asset database of brand marketing materials and coordinate marketing asset production to the Saucony wholesale channel . Maintain Saucony retail partner digital calendar and paid social programs for seasonal launches. . Maintain brand page assets, merchandizing, updating and asset creation as needed by the seasonal product launch calendar in wholesale channel, as directed by key account managers. . Work with internal DTC team on content calendars, product launch initiatives and asset delivery. . Own dealer employee training platform and motivation initiatives, creating advocates of the Saucony brand. . Attend occasional events, supporting retailers and brand initiatives with event pop-ups throughout the Ontario region. Marketing Operations (30%) . . . Broadcast monthly post-mortem reports to implement learnings into marketing strategy and programming on a continual basis considering that sell-through of Saucony products is the measure of success. . Fulfilling media/pr requests and agency and evaluating seeding / partnership opportunities. . Submitting creative briefs to graphic design for regional design needs and wholesale production / installation of marketing materials. . Inventorying marketing samples and managing marketing storage room and shipping product as needed. . Updating seasonal showroom graphics. . Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required . 2+ years experience in consumer marketing, product marketing, and/or trade marketing, ideally in a consumer products environment. Preference shown to candidates with a combined classical consumer or customer marketing background and connection-driven or digital brand background. . Passionate about running and footwear industry . Residency in the Greater Toronto Area and access to a reliable vehicle and valid drivers license and to attend hybrid office arrangement. . Ability to lift 50 pounds / set up tents / event & marketing materials etc. . Experience with MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite . Experience in managing corporate / brand social media accounts and accompanying analytical / reporting tools . Familiarity with content production software, editing tools and creator social platforms . Keen interest to learn, be solution-oriented, self-motivated .
