in Toronto, where your vigilance and professionalism will help maintain safety, order, and compliance across designated parking areas. You will be responsible for enforcing parking regulations, deterring unauthorized vehicles, and ensuring a secure and organized environment for tenants, customers, and visitors. With strong communication and conflict-resolution skills, you'll represent Unison Security Ltd. as both an enforcer of site policies and a customer service ambassador.
Key Responsibilities
Patrol parking lots, driveways, and restricted areas to monitor compliance with parking rules and regulations.
Enforce parking policies by issuing warnings, violation notices, or coordinating vehicle towing when necessary.
Deter unauthorized parking, loitering, or suspicious activity through consistent visibility and patrols.
Respond promptly to incidents, disputes, or disturbances using effective de-escalation techniques.
Assist customers and visitors with parking directions and general inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
Maintain detailed and accurate daily activity and incident reports.
Communicate with property management, towing companies, and local authorities as required.
Monitor lighting, gates, and signage, reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
Qualifications
Valid
Ontario Security Guard License
(as per the Private Security and Investigative Services Act).
Previous experience in security or parking enforcement preferred.
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with the public.
Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure or during confrontations.
Excellent observation and report-writing skills with strong attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of traffic and parking regulations is an asset.
Physically fit and able to perform regular foot patrols outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Valid Ontario Class G driver's license preferred.
