AST-Certified Static Retail Security Guards

to work at various retail locations across

British Columbia

. This role is ideal for individuals with strong situational awareness, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to creating a safe and secure environment for customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Provide a strong, visible security presence within assigned retail locations Deter theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV) and conduct routine patrols Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms professionally and in accordance with training Write accurate and timely shift and incident reports Communicate effectively with retail staff, management, and law enforcement when necessary Follow all site-specific protocols and safety regulations

Requirements

Valid Advanced Security Training (AST) Certification

(Mandatory)

Valid British Columbia Security Worker License

(Mandatory) Minimum 6 months of retail or static security experience preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage stressful situations and remain calm under pressure Reliable, punctual, and professionally presented Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Pay: $18.00-$19.50 per hour
