We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Deck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. As a Tow Truck Deck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles, equipment and assisting customers in distress, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.

Duties

Operate Deck Truck and other vehicles safely and efficiently to transport vehicles and equipment Perform vehicle recovery operations, including winching and lifting techniques, while ensuring the safety of all involved. Conduct pre-trip inspections of towing equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting stranded motorists, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a friendly manner. Maintain accurate records of tows, including vehicle information, locations, and any incidents that occur during the towing process. Collaborate with dispatchers to receive job assignments and report any issues encountered during operations. Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform minor repairs or adjustments on vehicles as needed. Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in good working condition.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving license (CDL) with air ticket and a clean driving record. Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and towing equipment operation. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients in stressful situations. Experience operating equipment is mandatory. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the job demands. Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks associated with towing operations. Previous experience in towing or roadside assistance is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
