We are seeking an experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our collision repair group. This role involves transporting customer and internal vehicles safely and efficiently between multiple locations, sublet vendors, etc - while managing priorities and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a flat deck tow truck for internal vehicle transport. Safely tow, load, and unload vehicles of various makes and models. Coordinate vehicle moves between multiple locations based on urgency and shop needs. Manage time effectively to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines. Drive safely in winter and adverse weather conditions. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections with pictures ; report mechanical issues promptly.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Air Brake Certification (required). Proven towing and flat deck loading experience with different vehicle types. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize urgent tasks. Ability to work outdoors year-round, including in cold weather conditions. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Hours are Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
