The duties and responsibilities of a Tourism Instructor may vary depending on the institution or organization they work for, but generally include the following:

• Developing and delivering tourism-related curriculum: A Tourism Instructor is responsible for designing and delivering course materials to students enrolled in tourism programs. This includes developing lesson plans, creating assignments and projects, and assessing student performance.

• Providing guidance and support to students: Tourism Instructors are responsible for providing academic guidance and support to students, including advising on course selection, career options, and academic performance.

• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the tourism industry: As an expert in tourism, a Tourism Instructor must stay informed of the latest trends, innovations, and developments in the industry to provide students with the most relevant and accurate information.

• Conducting research and publishing findings: In addition to teaching, a Tourism Instructor may be responsible for conducting research in the field of tourism and publishing their findings in academic journals or other publications.

• Networking and building partnerships: A Tourism Instructor may be responsible for developing partnerships with industry organizations, travel agencies, and other tourism-related businesses to provide students with hands-on learning experiences and internship opportunities.

• Maintaining administrative responsibilities: A Tourism Instructor is also responsible for administrative tasks such as grading assignments, maintaining attendance records, and participating in faculty meetings and committees.
