Why Join Us? Evolve Tours is an educational travel company based in Toronto and Los Angeles. We take students from across Canada and the United States on trips to destinations around the world. Our Toronto office is the epicentre of our operation. The successful candidate will have an integral role in organizing programs, communicating with suppliers, working with our sales team, accounting and servicing existing customers (schools, teachers, students and their parents). We are looking for a part time tour coordinator to start immediately at our Toronto office or remotely if agreeable to both us and the candidate. The successful candidate should have experience in the travel industry or in a similar coordinator role and speak Spanish and/or French. This is a dynamic, fast paced environment. Candidates should be highly motivated, top performing, analytical thinkers who have experience with technology and are proficient in Google Drive, and other software applications. - Provide informative and engaging presentations to educate visitors about various topics
- Communicate effectively with visitors, answering questions and providing assistance as needed
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of tours
- Develop and maintain relationships with tour operators and travel agencies
- Assist in the development of tour itineraries and promotional materials
- Conduct research on local attractions, landmarks, and cultural events to enhance tour offerings
- Manage tour schedules and ensure timely arrivals and departures
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of tour attendance and visitor feedback Qualifications: - Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage and captivate an audience
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is highly desirable
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to work independently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
