Job Description

As part of the Speed Jobbing event organized by the Societe de developpement economique de la Colombie-Britannique (SDECB), employers from the

Tofino area

are recruiting candidates for

housekeeping, cook, and front desk roles

in local resorts and hotels.

Requirements:

Previous hospitality or tourism experience preferred, but not mandatory. Ability to adapt to a high-volume, fast-paced work environment. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Available positions:

Housekeeping: ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization. Cook: food prep, cooking techniques, and food safety certification are an asset. Front desk: strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage reservations and guest relations. Team player with a positive and professional attitude.

Working Conditions:

Seasonal and year-round positions available. Competitive hourly wages with tips for certain roles. Staff housing will be provided by employers. Discounts and perks at partner restaurants, resorts, or activities.
