Job Description

As part of the Speed Jobbing event organized by the Societe de developpement economique de la Colombie-Britannique (SDECB), several hotel employers in the

Okanagan Valley

are seeking bilingual candidates for positions in

housekeeping, cooking, and front desk services

Requirements:

Previous experience in the hospitality or tourism industry is an asset. Basic French is required (roles involve interacting with both English- and French-speaking guests). Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.

Skills & Experience:

Attention to detail and teamwork in fast-paced environments. Ability to provide excellent guest service and maintain professional standards. For cooks: knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to work in a kitchen environment. For front desk: experience with reservation systems and guest check-in/check-out.

Working Conditions:

Full-time or seasonal positions available Opportunities for staff housing may be available. Employee benefits or staff meals may be provided depending on employer.
