Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Tire Technician to join our busy shop. The Tire Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of tires on a variety of vehicles, ranging from standard passenger cars to light trucks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in tire care and maintenance, as well as a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Install, rotate, and balance tires on a variety of vehicles. Inspect and repair tire damage, including patching and plugging. Perform tire-related services, such as checking tire pressure, tread depth, and alignment. Assist in routine vehicle maintenance such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake checks when needed. Ensure all tires meet safety and performance standards before returning the vehicle to the customer. Properly operate tire-changing and balancing machines and other necessary equipment. Maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to all safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
Experience working with tires and tire-changing equipment is preferred. Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to assist in general vehicle maintenance. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Ability to lift heavy tires and perform physically demanding tasks. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team. * A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
