We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of tires on various vehicles. This role requires a strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
Inspect and assess tires for wear and damage, providing recommendations for replacement or repair.
Mount, dismount and balance tires on vehicles using appropriate tools and equipment.
Perform tire repairs, including patching and plugging as necessary.
Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns regarding tyre maintenance.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Tire Technician or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate tire-related machinery safely.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
A valid driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
