We are a trusted mobility solutions provider dedicated to improving independence and accessibility for our customers. With a reputation for quality service and professional installations, we are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Stairlift Installer & Technician to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Stairlift Installer & Technician is responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of stairlifts in residential settings. The role requires mechanical aptitude, electrical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Install new stairlifts (straight and curved) according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and adjustments on existing stairlifts.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
Ensure all work areas are clean and tidy after each job.
Provide clear instructions to customers on the safe operation and care of their stairlift.
Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, and parts used.
Comply with company safety policies and manufacturer guidelines.
Manage tools, equipment, and company vehicle responsibly.
Ensure warehouse is clean and organized
Accept Deliveries and store equipment into appropriate location
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills required.
Previous experience in mobility equipment installation, appliance repair, or a similar trade as an asset.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license (G level) with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift 75+ lbs while working on stairs and in confined spaces or at heights.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Requires computer skills to make sales receipts and invoices (Quickbooks online)
Working Conditions:
Work is primarily performed in customers' homes or in our facilities.
Travel required within the service area.
May involve occasional evening or weekend work for urgent service calls.
