Threat Analyst: We want to add a Threat Analyst to our team to contribute to program delivery. Reporting to the Cyber Program Manager, leveraging your innate curiosity you will primarily focus on research, intelligence gathering and analysis, information sharing and reporting, and maintaining and developing our secure collaboration portal. Who We Are: The CCTX is Canada\'s only cross-sectoral cyber threat collaboration forum. As a membership-based not-for-profit organization, we provide actionable cyber threat intelligence with a Canadian focus. The CCTX enables members to collaborate and share information in numerous ways at various levels. What You Will Do:

• Process and publish member and partner submitted intelligence and information, enabling members to better adjust cybersecurity controls or respond to incidents as required.
• Research the latest cybersecurity incidents, breaches, malware, vulnerabilities, and threat methods striving to isolate and highlight the Canadian network affecting content.
• Leverage research, news feeds, and member submissions to write Threat Alerts, Threat Profiles, and other Daily and Weekly News Briefs.
• Support the Cyber Program Manager in publishing the annual Threat Themes and ad hoc Briefs and Reports.
• Contribute to other team projects and initiatives as requested.

Who You Are:

• You have critical thinking skills and curiosity.
• Excellent analytical abilities and a strong ability to think creatively when approaching issues.
• Ability to synthesize technical information about large datasets to communicate both qualitatively and quantitatively.
• Preference given to a degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills required \xe2\x80\x93 both oral and written, with the ability to communicate complex technology/methodologies clearly.
• Strong Microsoft Excel or SQL skills.
• Ability to multi-task on work assignments.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent research and documentation skills.
• Discretion when dealing with sensitive issues.
• Qualify for a Government of Canada security clearance at the Secret level.
• A police reference check.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year Benefits:
