Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of various massage techniques and excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive client experience. The Massage Therapist will work in a tranquil environment dedicated to health and relaxation, helping clients achieve their wellness goals.

Responsibilities

Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities. Conduct client consultations to assess their health history and specific concerns. Maintain a clean and safe treatment area in accordance with health and safety standards. Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments if necessary. Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress. Ensure excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing client questions or concerns professionally. Adhere to all licensing, certification, and regulatory requirements related to massage therapy.

Skills

Knowledge of medical terminology related to health conditions and treatment plans. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients. Excellent communication skills to effectively explain treatment options and gather client feedback. Proficiency in various massage techniques and an understanding of anatomy and physiology. Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a calming demeanor during sessions. Flexibility to work scheduled shifts that may include evenings or weekends as needed. Pay: $50.00-$80.00 per hour
