Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our wellness team for our Downtown and South locations. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation and relief from tension. As a Massage Therapist, you will utilize various techniques to cater to individual client needs while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment. Must have an active registration as RMT and preferably having a certificate in Thai Massage or willingness to obtain a certificate. Must be willing to work during weekends (Saturday or Sunday).

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and discuss their needs and preferences. Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic massages. Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress. Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients before, during, and after sessions. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary. Uphold all health and safety standards in accordance with company policies.

Skills

Proficient understanding of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology. Proficient or willing to learn Thai Massage and hot stone massage techniques. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for clients. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Knowledge of various massage techniques and the ability to adapt methods based on individual client requirements. Pay: $69.30-$75.60 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
