Job Description

Job Title: Test Development Engineer

The role involves independently managing and executing test strategies for new products, with a focus on in-circuit testing (ICT) and design-for-test (DFT) analysis. The individual will lead projects, manage communication with team members, suppliers, and customers, and ensure the successful completion of multiple projects. Collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams is essential to review and provide input on test strategies. The role also includes generating proposals, performing detailed analysis, and maintaining and improving test development processes.
Responsibilities

• Develop and execute structural test strategies for new products.
• Lead projects and manage communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring schedules and deliverables are met.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to review and provide input on test strategies.
• Generate proposals and perform detailed DFT analysis for internal and external customers.
• Maintain and improve test development processes and manage external suppliers.

Essential Skills

• Hardware test and test development.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in physical and automated test analysis, and in-circuit test (ICT) development and functional test.
• Understanding of design and manufacturing processes for systems and printed circuit boards.
• Ability to evaluate and troubleshoot problems at the component level.
• Experience with testing software (TestExpert, Valor Process Prep, TestWay, or TestWay Express)
• Strong communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external customers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with ICT development on Teradyne GR228x platform and standalone Boundary Scan test development.
• Development experience in Aerospace & Defense, Healthcare, Hyperscale, Cloud Connectivity, or DataCenter industries.
• Some experience with National Instruments LabView and TestStand.
• Some board design and layout experience, and hardware development such as connector loopback interposers design for ICT fixture.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
