In line with our strategic direction, Servier Canada is looking to hire a Territory Manager, oncology. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, oncology, this person will be responsible for developing relationship with health care professionals and other stakeholders in therapeutic field of interest, in oncology and will be accountable to generate demand and ensure appropriate use through education activities within its territory.

Territory: Province of Quebec, Ottawa and Atlantic provinces

Number of position available: 1

Weekly hours and schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Traveling: 30% of the time

What you will be doing

The Territory Manager is a self-starter individual. He is energetic, highly motivated, with can-do attitude that thrives at delivering on our promise to put patients first. He demonstrates a strong entrepreneurial attitude and a track record of driving performance in specialty care medicine. The ideal candidate will maximize customer engagement, and deliver high value and personalized solutions to each customer.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with health care professionals, including TAEs within the territory.
  • Develop an excellent understanding of the therapeutic area of interest, including the products and treatment algorithms as well as the patient pathway for each disease state and enhance that knowledge continuously.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (sales, marketing, medical & access) to align efforts in the delivery of promotional, educational & other activities to achieve results.
  • Leverage your in-depth knowledge or your customers, the needs of their patients, in order to tailor your actions using all resources available to grow the business and accelerate performance.
  • Execute the company\'s marketing plan to achieve annual territory objectives.
  • Maintain an agile mindset, a willingness to demonstrate strong collaboration and an appetite for ongoing learning.
  • Develop and implement strategic and targeted annual business plans based on market insights and brand strategy focused on achieving and exceeded targets. Continuously check/adjust the plan in response to changing market dynamics.
Your background will ideally include
  • University degree preferably in health science;
  • 7+ years of relevant life science sales experience
  • Experience in the field of specialty care, oncology being an asset;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain credible relationships with health care professionals;
  • Strong business acumen - track record of performance
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to identify business opportunities in relation to growth strategies.
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented, and able to work from a home office.
  • Must hold a valid driver\'s license.
  • Approximately 30% travel will be required for this role (including overnight travel).
