We are seeking a results-oriented Territory Lead (Consumer Electronics) based out of Interior British Columbia, who will engage, inspire, hire, train and develop teams of consumer electronics sales and photo department associates that work in various Walmart locations.. You will lead by example and create a team culture that supports inclusivity, collaboration, and development. Our focus is on talented leaders who have been successful in leading teams- regardless of the industry. The ideal candidate would reside in Kamloops, Vernon or Kelowna.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service always
  • Generate interest and awareness in the Wireless, Consumer Electronics (CE) and photo departments by proactively soliciting existing Walmart customers
  • Accountable for achieving operational excellence through ongoing development of CE sales and photo associates
  • Responsible for achieving all key performance indicators including sales, merchandising, customer experience and operational targets
  • Collaborate with district and in-store Walmart leadership to determine ongoing strategic action plans that support all key business objectives
  • Create and facilitate training initiatives, with a focus on coaching, sales excellence, and personal / professional development
  • Daily visit reports to district leadership on store initiatives, coaching and training and hiring progression.
  • Follows proper procedures for on-boarding and off-boarding all employees as outlined by Operations and Human Resources.
  • Ensures all locations are always staffed appropriately - support the hiring process of employees in various locations
Physical Job Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extensive periods of time
  • Ability to lift 10-50 pounds
  • Frequent travel for day trips or overnight
