Our client is seeking a full-time Terminal Supervisor for their location in Grand Falls, New Brunswick. The ideal candidate will bring strong problem-solving skills, a solid work ethic, and a positive attitude to oversee daily terminal operations.
Role Overview
The Terminal Supervisor is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient terminal operations, focusing on safety, timely deliveries, and meeting performance targets.
Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and address any safety concerns to maintain a safe working environment.
• Track and review key performance indicators (KPIs) and manage freight organization.
• Communicate effectively with management, dispatch, and staff, while delegating tasks as needed.
• Ensure the correct equipment is used for outbound lanes and coordinate the loading and unloading of freight.
• Oversee that LTL deliveries and straight trucks are loaded on time for early morning cutoffs.
• Meet expectations for reweigh and cube targets.
• Attend meetings and respond to correspondence and voicemails within agreed timelines.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
• Experience with logistics systems like TruckMate is an asset.

Working Conditions

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with a 6 a.m. start.
• Warehouse conditions may include high noise levels and fluctuating temperatures depending on the season.
• Use of safety footwear is required.

• Strong work ethic, dependability, and a positive attitude.
• Reliable transportation and ability to commute to the Grand Falls area.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to use scanners and complete required paperwork.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to attend training sessions, such as Dangerous Goods and Forklift training.
• Clean criminal background and willingness to provide references.
