Key Responsibilities
Oversee terminal operations including
shipping, yard operations, transloading, rail, and container depot/storage
Lead and develop a team of approximately
10-15 equipment operators and yard staff
, along with
4 administrative/office employees
Coordinate and optimize
planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
across multiple operational areas
Actively engage in the yard as needed to support operations, resolve issues, and ensure safety and efficiency
Coach, mentor, and develop team members to support growth, engagement, and accountability
Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining operational continuity
Ensure effective communication across teams and with external partners
Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational best practices
Experience & Qualifications
7-12+ years
of experience in terminal operations, transloading, transportation, logistics, or similar industrial environments
Candidates from
industrial turnaround environments
(General Foremen, Superintendents, Foremen) will also be considered
Proven experience managing
multi-disciplinary teams
in operational settings
Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving capabilities
Comfortable working in both office and yard environments
Experience is considered equivalent to formal education
