Located in downtown Montreal, one of our clients is a Canadian transportation company that provides intermodal transportation services across North America.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Terminal Manager will be responsible for planning, developing and controlling all terminal operations to ensure that the terminal\'s objectives are met on time and on cost, while providing quality service. to customers. The Montreal Terminal Manager is responsible for all aspects of occupational health and safety, operation and administration of the terminal.

More details....* Direct and control the activities of the Montreal terminal and coordinate operations with other terminals across Canada.

• Control and effectively use staff through planning, organizing and setting up schedules to minimize wasted time, while respecting the operational budget;
• Ensure the company\'s compliance with the Canada Labor Code as well as the standards established by Transport Canada;
• Make appointments with the fuel supplier, piloting and "lines men";
• Represent the company with external agencies on various subjects that may have an impact on the business or that require the contribution of the company. This includes the business community, the MEA, the Port of Montreal and Transport Canada;
• Prepare annual budgets. Provide rates on specialty items. Oversee the approval, recording and payment of all invoices related to ship handling and port charges;
• Manage a significant budget;
• Perform any other related task, as required.
