About the Position

The Centre for Trades is seeking a highly motivated, organized individual with excellent communication skills to instruct in our School of Culinary Arts. The successful applicant will be expected to participate in ongoing curriculum development, instruction and evaluation of student progress. For the various trades, program content follows Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training Apprenticeship Course Outlines which can be researched at: www.tradesecrets.gov.ab.ca.

Position Details

Will be responsible for:

• Instruction and Curriculum Upkeep of Apprenticeship Cook
• Instruction and curriculum upkeep of Cooks - Diploma Program
• Retail sales production
• Banqueting and events execution
• Daily ordering, inventory, lab organization and upkeep

Required Qualifications

• A Journeyman/Red Seal in Cooking
• Background in Volume production (whether retail or convention centre/hotel)
• Minimum of 5 years\' experience in the above

Preferred Qualifications
Salary Commensurate with education and experience according to the Faculty Collective Agreement.
