The Department of Modern Languages at the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in French Canadian literature, with a secondary specialization in the literature of francophone Africa or La francophonie. The capacity to teach Spanish language courses will also be considered an asset.We encourage candidates specializing in any domain related to French-Canadian literature to apply. The successful candidate must hold a doctorate (PhD) in the area of the advertised specialty and have demonstrated evidence of excellence in both research and teaching.The successful candidate will be required to teach core courses in French language and French- Canadian literature at the undergraduate level.
